As you can see from my title, this is my first entry. I guess I'm popping my blog cherry. Whew... exciting stuff going on today! Not every day you pop a cherry.
I talked to an old friend today, I suppose you can call them a friend, although they did question me about being a friend. If you don't know anything about me, I can tell you this. I don't stay in touch with people like I should, even my own family. My family doesn't keep in touch with me like they should, which makes the whole situation ok and acceptable. Do you understand this? I thought so.
Anyways, it was nice to have somebody to let my thoughts out of my head to, someone that isn't going to judge me in any way. That's what friends are for, right? I know I would do the same, and if anybody out there needs the same thing, I am available, anytime.
I talked to my dad tonight, it is Christmas time and he needs to know what to send the kids. This year it is gift certificates. They get to pick out their own presents, which I know they are not going to complain about! I miss my dad. Even though I only saw him every other weekend and the summers growing up, he was always around when I needed him. He apologizes for not being around, but he has nothing to apologize about.
Anyways, that is about all I have to say. Which means that I have much more to say but in the interests of not offending anyone, I will stop here. Good night.

Yay Carly has a bllllooooggg! It is good to keep in touch with your dad. My dad was the same way, divorced my mom, and was just there for visits in my childhood. I cherrished each time spent with him. Your girls are lucky to have him for a grandpa! My dad passed away in 1999, so our little one won't get to have him as a grandpa. My step dad who I call my Dad (raised me) will be her grandpa. and ANdrews dad too a grandpa. Cheers to family, I love family and hope to keep them all near and dear.
PS I popped your blog cherry! :)
